A developed emotional intelligence has been acknowledged as essential for operating effectively as a manager and leader.  The ability to recognise and handle emotions in yourself and others lies at the heart of responding to challenges such as dealing with stress, coping with change, acting assertively and dealing with difficult behaviour.

Emotional Intelligence has four key levels.  Within each of these levels is a set of core competencies which can help you to discover your strengths and areas of improvement to be more aware of your emotional intelligence in yourself and the impact on others.
