Coaching Skills for Management and Leadership Success

This person-centred, outcome focused approach to improving performance and motivation in others will show your managers and leaders how to use a range of powerful and thought-provoking questioning and listening techniques to enable others to think independently and move forward.

This course is a journey of self and social awareness and is aimed at all managers and leaders looking to develop a more influencial style of management and will help you to deal with conflict, change, performance and motivational issues at work.

Who should attend?

Day 1 is suitable for anyone who is curious about what coaching is, its benefits and how coaching fits within the wider spectrum of management and leadership styles and approaches.

Day 2 is suitable for anyone who has attended day 1 and / or who would like a more deeper understanding and plenty of practise of using powerful coaching skills particularly in how to use coaching to achieve goals, improve motivation and helping others through change.

This is recommended as a two day course with coaching practice taking place between training days with each other on the course.  Experience suggests that a four week break between training days works well to give delegates chance to practice coaching with each other and so receive valuable feedback and confidence.

Coaching experience and challenges are discussed on day 2 of the course with further indepth learning taking place to embed skills and techniques.
