Assertiveness Skills
A one day highly participative workshop giving you the opportunity to reflect on how assertive you are, your barriers to being assertive and practical strategies to build confidence and improve your communication skills and body language.
By the end of the day you will
- have increased your understanding of assertive communication and associated theories
- have awareness of your own level of assertiveness when it matters
- be able to communicate what you want in a clear and honest way
- know the importance of changing your way of thinking and body language to improve your confidence
- have considered and practised strategies for dealing with challenging behaviours from others
