This Level 3 management and leadership qualification programme is designed for team leaders and first-line managers. It offers practical ways in how to use a coaching style and approach with teams and individuals as well as learning the key components of management versus leadership styles and approaches. Learners will gain confidence and credibility as a manager, will learn person-centred communication techniques and how to use coaching in many workplace situations including:

Learners will gain a rounded and practical experience of what coaching and mentoring is and how to embed these valuable skills within the varied roles and responsibilities of a team leader.
A flexible Level 3 Certificate in management and leadership is delivered either:
On a 1-2-1 basis for those wanting a more flexible approach at a pace and timescale to suit you
In small groups of between 3 and 6 people to gain from a peer group learning experience.
A practical and flexible, level 3 qualification programme with the aim of developing communication, coaching and mentoring skills to use in the role as a manager and team leader.
On completion of this qualification course learners will

Know where coaching and mentoring applies within the wider spectrum of management and leadership
How to use the skills of coaching and mentoring with teams effortlessly
Learn and practice using the 70 / 30 rule of coaching and mentoring during coaching conversations
Know how to use a coaching and mentoring style in a number of workplace challenging situations and conversations
Learn how to structure and ‘contract’ a coaching conversation
Have gained a CMI Level 3 certificate in management and leadership
Learners are fully supported in this programme with how to successfully complete the CMI externally marked assignments.
